JSC "Electronmash" has started manufacturing substations for PJSC "Russian Railways"

The new TP will be installed inside the locomotive technical inspection station on the territory of the large Lugskaya-Sortirovochnaya railway station and will provide electricity to both the equipment of the station itself and the technological loads of other complexes of the facility.
The production is carried out as part of the program for the comprehensive reconstruction of the Mga – Gatchina – Weimarn –Ivangorod section and railway approaches to ports on the southern shore of the Gulf of Finland, including the preparation of railway infrastructure at the near approaches to the port of Ust-Luga. The implementation of the program will ensure the volume of transportation of various cargoes up to 80 million tons per year.
The substation will include a 10 kV Eltema-Light switchgear, dry power transformers, a 0.4 kV Assol switchgear, commercial accounting cabinets. For guaranteed power supply of commercial accounting cabinets and secondary control room circuits, a shield for its own needs is provided, equipped with an uninterruptible power supply.
Taking into account the specifics of the operation of the TP in railway conditions, specialized MP RPA terminals have been used on the 10 kV side, designed to protect traction power supply facilities and their supply networks, containing all the necessary protection and automation functions.
The control assembly and factory adjustment of the TP equipment, performed upon completion of production, will ensure completeness, quality, and also shorten the installation time at the facility.
