01 Information security

Information security when using the monitoring and control system is ensured by a multi-level password system with differentiation of levels of personnel access to remote control functions and changes in monitoring and control systems settings, the ability of the system to operate in the technological local area network (LAN) of the power facility, as well as flexible adaptation and readiness to integrate standard solutions of the monitoring and control system digital infrastructure into the information security system of the Customer's facilities.

02 High reliability and quality

The equipment of the PS and LVS with the installed monitoring and diagnostics system guarantees a high level of reliability of power supply at the power facility due to a unique set of analytical functions. It allows predicting and identifying pre-emergency operating modes and developing defects, determining and signaling temperature deviations in the equipment with the notification of operating services for prompt action, and also monitoring the integrity of secondary circuits and devices.

03 Ease of operation

The equipment of the PS and LVS with the installed monitoring and control system will ensure a high level of ease of maintenance and operation. It has an extended analytical functionality of the system, which carries out predictive control over the technical condition of all equipment, including the power transformer. It carries out remote control and timely SMS and e-mail notification about the technical condition of the equipment. The presence of QR codes in the system will provide quick access for personnel to technical documentation and contact numbers of the technical support center.

04 Reduction of operating and administrative expenses (OPEX)

PS and LV switchgear equipment with a built-in control and monitoring system manufactured by Electronmash JSC will reduce operating costs for equipment maintenance and operation (OPEX). Thanks to advanced analytical tools, the control and monitoring system predicts the condition of the PS and LV switchgear, makes it possible to organize maintenance based on the technical condition, while the organization of remote switching with video monitoring of the position of switchgear elements allows eliminating the constant presence of personnel at the power facility. All this ensures a minimum payback period for the project for the Customer in combination with a long service life of the equipment.

05 Reduction of commissioning time

Reduction of commissioning time of PS and LVS with integrated monitoring and control system is achieved by the ability to perform unit-by-unit adjustment and testing of functional units, as well as most of the work on checking all technological functions and signals at the site of the manufacturer, and only to install and commission the equipment at the facility.

The diagnostic algorithms built into the control system significantly unload the computing power of the SCADA system to identify deviations from normal equipment operating modes, and the availability of a list of developed standard signals and algorithms will ensure the rapid development of working documentation.

06 Integration of monitoring and control system into related automated systems

The PS and LVS monitoring and control system is based on modern hardware and software with existing standard solutions based on the principle of distributed topology of data collection and transmission using standard international digital data transmission protocols IEC 61850, 60870-101/104.

Due to the presence in the monitoring and control system of standard algorithms for diagnostics of the technical condition, checklists for maintenance and repair of equipment, integrated libraries of elements with the necessary list of analyzed operational data, the transformer substation and low-voltage switchgear with the installed monitoring and control system is completely ready for integration into related automated systems for processing and providing all operational data and optimizing business processes for maintenance and repair of equipment.
