ELM PS 110 (220) kV

ELM PS Block-type prefabricated substation is a design-configurable platform that integrates a set of fully factory-ready functional modular components with power, control, and communication equipment developed by specialists at "Electronmash" JSC to create transformer substations with various combinations of network voltages of 220/110/35/10/6 kV.

01 Maximum security level

PS planning solutions and the very organization of modular components make it possible to organize a safe, ergonomic production environment for equipment and personnel. The design of the modular components ensures the safe connection of cable, overhead lines and switchgear connections to transformers, reliable mechanical and electrical interlocking systems eliminate incorrect switching of switching power equipment and ensure the maximum level of personnel safety during maintenance and repair of equipment.

02 High reliability and quality of PS

The high reliability of the electrical equipment used in the Outdoor switchgear, Indoor switchgea and Substation control room, developed taking into account the specifics of operation at Russian and foreign power facilities, is confirmed by test reports in independent test centers. A specially designed design of power units using high-quality components and an efficiently organized, well-established production process with step-by-step quality control in the factory make it possible to provide the Customer with reliable PS electrical equipment suitable for any special project requirements.

03 Reduction of commissioning time

PS components make it possible to transfer most of the construction, installation and commissioning work to the site of the manufacturing plant, and only install modules, complete commissioning and commissioning at the facility. The flexible modular design allows you to change the location of the PS components or their modules, dismantle them, as well as quickly load and unload the modules using standard loaders. The availability of a list of developed standard modules will ensure the preparation of design documentation for the execution of operational design in the shortest possible time.

04 Capital Cost Reduction (CAPEX)

The use of optimal architectural, hardware and layout solutions in PS makes it possible to reduce capital costs for construction (CAPEX). Due to the compact placement of all substation equipment, it is possible to significantly reduce the building area of the KTPB, while reducing the cost and time for transportation by standard methods is ensured by the permissible dimensions and weight of the modules. All this ensures the minimum payback period for the project for the Customer in combination with the long service life of the PS-ELM equipment.

05 Design features of KTPB

Detailed technological study of the product design makes it possible to manufacture various substation versions: modular type with Substation control room, modular type with Indoor switchgear. A two-storey design of the modules is possible with the placement of the control room on the 2nd floor in conditions of a shortage of free space allocated for the PS, while the reinforced all-welded steel structure ensures 100% rigidity of the Indoor switchgear and control room modules, reduces requirements and significantly simplifies the installation of modules on various types of foundation bases.

06 Monitoring, diagnostics and management

The automated process control and telemechanics system of KTPB substations are based on modern hardware and software in strict accordance with the design and/or working documentation and Customer requirements, while there are a number of standard solutions for substation automation based on the principle of distributed topology of information collection and transmission using standard international digital data transmission protocols IEC 61850, 60870-101/104 and others, as well as modifications for digital substations. All PS equipment is equipped with monitoring, control and diagnostic systems for predictive maintenance of electrical equipment at the power facility.
