Electronmash took part in a Russian International Energy Forum - 2022

General Director Valery Nazarov told at the plenary session of the X Anniversary Russian International Energy Forum about import substitution in the company. The Electronmash company traditionally took part in the Russian International Energy Forum (RIEF-2022), which was held from April 26 to 28, 2022 at the EXPOFORUM Convention and Exhibition Center in St. Petersburg.

RIEF-2022 is an annual congress and exhibition event for specialists in the fuel and energy industry, which provides for a dialogue between industry corporations, government authorities and the scientific community.

The first day of the RIEF-2022 business program began with the central event, which was the plenary session “Electric Power Industry of Russia: New Technological Challenges and Points of Growth”, which brought together the main representatives of the Electric Grid, Generating, Energy Retail and Production Companies, including Valery Nazarov - General Director of Electronmash JSC, Igor Kuzmin - General Director of Rosseti Lenenergo PJSC, Marina Fayrushina - Deputy General Director for Industry Regulation and Tariff Setting of Inter RAO PJSC and Pyotr Konyushenko - General Director of AtomEnergoSbyt JSC.

During the face-to-face discussion, the session participants discussed the priorities for the development of the Russian energy sector and the provisions of the new Energy Strategy of the Russian Federation, adopted and approved by the Government of the Russian Federation. Representatives of the companies considered topical issues of native and global energy: import substitution, possible risks for the industry in the medium term, the impact of the current situation in the world on tariffs for consumers, the implementation of the decarbonization strategy and carbon regulation in the Russian fuel and energy complex, prospects for the development of renewable energy sources, increasing the investment attractiveness of the energy sector and practice introduction of new digital services for consumers.
