The cast insulation of the T3R dry transformer has successfully passed fire resistance tests at the CESI laboratory in Milan.
This procedure includes testing the T3R dry transformer for compliance with class F1 of the international quality standard EN 60076-11 IEC 60076-11.
The test lasts 60 minutes. The coil assembly of the T3R dry transformer (HH winding + HH winding + core) is installed in the chamber described in the standard. Next, alcohol is ignited in the tank and a 24 kW radiator is turned on. Then, 40 minutes after the start of the experiment, the radiator is turned off. Alcohol burns for 30 minutes. The heating of the materials is measured throughout the test, the temperature should not rise above 420 °C.
The result of this test was the full compliance of the materials and design of the T3R power transformer with established international quality standards.
