Electronmash has successfully implemented a project to replace converters in the Trunovskaya wind farm.
10 September 2023
Together with the large Chinese company Hopewind, 36 1.6MW wind converters were delivered, adjusted and put into operation for NovaWind JSC.
With the commissioning of the Trunovskaya WPS, the total capacity of wind power plants in the Stavropol Territory's energy system reached 730 MW, which is 13.3% of the total installed capacity of the region's power plants. NovaVind JSC is consistently increasing the capacity of green energy. This is of fundamental importance for the preservation of the ecology and the unique nature of the region.
Within the framework of this project, Electronmash specialists performed full engineering, including the selection and replacement of previously installed converters from the European company ABB with new ones, taking into account their compatibility with the existing installation infrastructure and in full compliance with the technical specifications.
In addition, there was a supply of a block-modular building – a prefabricated container in which converters were installed. It provides a natural ventilation system, but for stable operation, the block-modular building is additionally equipped with an equipment cooling system (coolant circulation cabinet) and a radiator.
All work was completed on time and in compliance with all quality standards. The new Hopewind converters have been successfully put into operation and operate without complaints. This project is an important step in the development of renewable energy sources.
We thank our partners and Customers for their professionalism and well-coordinated work, and also express confidence in further successful cooperation. This project demonstrated the high competence and reliability of the Electronmash company in the field of engineering and implementation of modern technological solutions.
