To manufacture and supply complete two-transformer substations (2KTP and 2BKTP) designed for receiving and distributing three-phase electric current with a frequency of 50 Hz. Operation of the equipment as part of the substation in difficult climatic conditions in the regions of the far north at an altitude of over 1200 meters above sea level.

Construction of transformer substations for power supply to major consumers

2BKTP-ELM 6/0.4 in a block-modular building – 2 pcs.,
2KTP-ELM 6/0.4 kV in-house design – 2 pcs.

Design, supply of electrical equipment, construction, commissioning and executive documentation in accordance with the approved technical requirements of the Customer.

Technical solutions

In accordance with the Customer's requirements, design documentation was developed and four 6/0.4 kV two-transformer substations were manufactured.

The first in-house substation houses 16 6 kV Eltema control panel cells with a nominal busbar current of 1000A. The Eltema is equipped with Russian-made equipment: power vacuum circuit breakers, current transformers, surge arresters, counters. Two dry three-phase cast-insulated power transformers with a capacity of 3200 kVA are also installed in 2KTP-ELM-3200/6/0.4 kV. The substation has its own ExOnSys-S 80Ah DC system, which is equipped with a flexible monitoring, diagnostic and control system  with an advanced analytical tool that improves the reliability of power supply to responsible consumers and the functioning of power supply systems.

The LVS is implemented on the basis of the LVS "Assol" 0.4 kV with a rated busbar current of 5000 A. To increase the energy efficiency of the power grid and reduce costs, the KTP provides reactive power compensation cabinets  with an automatic control system.

Unlike the first substation, the second in-house complete two-transformer substation 2KTP-ELM-3200/6/0.4 kV does not include a DC System and a MVS. The rest of the equipment is similar, including two dry three-phase power transformers with a capacity of 3,200 kVA, a LVS based on the LVS Assol 0.4 kV with a rated busbar current of 5,000 A/

As part of two other block-modular complete two-transformer substations 2BKTP-ELM-3200/6/0.4 and 2BKTP-ELM-2000/6/0.4, LVS based on NKU "Assol" 0.4 kV with a rated busbar current of 5000 A.

Both substations are dual-transformer. Two dry three-phase cast-insulated power transformers with a capacity of 3,200 kVA are installed in 2BKTP-ELM-3200/6/0.4, and two dry transformers with a capacity of 2,000 kVA are installed in 2BKTP-ELM-2000/6/0.4.

Our own needs are realized on the basis of the 0.4 kV  Assol cabinet with a nominal busbar current of 63 A. The block-modular building is made in the form of a container made of sandwich panels. The heating system, which maintains temperatures from +5 ℃ to +40 ℃, is based on electric convectors.

All substations have a dispatching system based on a Russian-made programmable logic controller (PLC). The PLC provides the functions of assigning a timestamp to the collected data, has a reserve of 15% I/O channels, and also receives and transmits signals using the Modbus RTU/TCP protocol.

A difficult logistical task related to the delivery of equipment to a remote region has been successfully solved. A multimodal transportation was organized from St. Petersburg to the facility in the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, including automobile transportation along roads accessible only in winter, as well as by icebreaker across the Arctic Ocean.

The Electronmash company's team has successfully completed a full range of work on the project: technical documentation has been developed and agreed upon, transformer substations have been manufactured and delivered, construction and installation work has been carried out, commissioning and commissioning have been completed. The project was implemented on time in compliance with all technical requirements and high quality standards.
